Outlook 2000, XP, 20003

Please note these screens may differ slightly from version to version:

Start Outlook. Point to Tools -> E-mail accounts

If you are adding a new e-mail account, check this option. Otherwise choose "View or change existing e-mail accounts"

 

Choose a POP3 server

 

Fill out the information as follows. Replace yourdomain.com with your actual website name:

  • Incoming & Outgoing mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Your username is your complete e-mail address.
  • You should already have a password assigned, or you can use the online control panel to choose one.
  • Click on More Settings

    You're almost done. After clicking the 'More Settings' button in the previous step:

  • Choose the "Outgoing server" tab
  • Check the box that says "My outgoing server requires authentication"
  • Leave the option checked that reads "Use the same settings as my incoming mail server"
  • Click OK

    You are now finished! Use the "Test Account" button to verify your settings
