Network

We've partnered with one of the largest datacenters in the world, hand built our servers from scratch, and brought it all together with backup services and 24/7 monitoring.

The network center has multiply redundant GigE connections that hook directly to major internet backbones.  All servers are hooked up to UPS devices and the entire power grid has diesel generator backups in case of emergency.

The performance of the servers is the most visible metric by which to gauge performance.  With that in mind, all servers are a minimum of 2.5GHZ with 1GB of ram including performance enhancing customizations.

Data integrity is ensured through three levels of redundancy.  A RAID mirror on all servers ensures that a drive crash won't bring down the server or lose data. Furthermore, daily backups and weekly offsite backups provide an extra level of safety beyond simple data corruption.
